ZeenFeed Privacy Policy (Limited Public Beta)

This Privacy Policy explains how ZeenFeed (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services (the “Service”), currently offered as a limited public beta.

1. Who We Are

2. Beta Status

ZeenFeed is currently in a limited public beta. As part of testing, account data and content may be reset, migrated, or deleted at any time without prior notice. Don’t treat ZeenFeed as permanent storage for anything you’re not prepared to lose during this period.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: - Account information: email address, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), username, display name, bio, profile photo - Content you create: videos you upload, captions, comments, direct messages, hashtags, sounds you attach to posts - Communications: messages you send to other users, support requests you send to us - Verification requests: if you apply for a “notable creator” verification badge, the evidence link (e.g., a link to another social profile or news article) you submit

Information collected automatically: - Usage data: which posts you view, like, comment on, save, or search for; how long you use the app; which features you interact with - Device information: device type, operating system, app version, general crash/error logs - Log data: IP address, access times, and similar technical data generated by normal app operation

Information from others: - If another user reports your account or content, we retain the report and the stated reason - If another user blocks you, that relationship is recorded to enforce the block

4. How We Use Information

We use the information above to: - Operate the core Service — display your feed, ensure every post reaches its guaranteed minimum audience (“getting zeen”), and power search, notifications, direct messages, and duets - Maintain your account, authenticate you, and let you recover access if you’re locked out - Review reports of abuse, spam, or policy violations, and enforce blocks - Review verification requests for the free “notable creator” badge tier - Improve and troubleshoot the Service during the beta - Communicate with you about your account or changes to our policies - Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. How Information Is Shared

With other users, as part of normal app function: your username, display name, avatar, bio, posts, and public activity (likes, comments, follows) are visible to other users according to your privacy settings. Content you mark “private” is visible only to your approved followers.
Direct messages are visible only to you and the recipient (or, for message requests, only to you until the recipient accepts).
Service providers: we use Supabase to host our database, handle authentication, and store uploaded video files. Supabase processes this data on our behalf, under its own data protection obligations, to provide these infrastructure services.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ZeenFeed, our users, or the public.
Business transfers: if ZeenFeed is acquired or merges with another company, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Access and correction: you can view and edit most of your account information directly in the app (Edit Profile screen).
Deletion: you can request account deletion by emailing contact@contentstratus.com. We will delete your account information and content within 30 days, except where we’re legally required to retain certain records.
Blocking and reporting: you can block accounts and report content directly in the app; this is enforced immediately.
Notification preferences: you can control which push notifications you receive in Settings.
Additional rights depending on your location: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including rights to access, delete, correct, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. 7. Children’s Privacy

ZeenFeed is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we’ve collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it. Contact us at contact@contentstratus.com if you believe a child has provided us with personal information.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. As noted in Section 2, data may also be reset as part of ongoing beta testing.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted password storage and access controls on our database. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

10. Payments

ZeenFeed does not currently process real financial transactions. Features such as tipping, paid verification, and the in-app balance are visible in parts of the app but are disabled during the beta. This policy will be updated to describe our payment processor and related data handling before any paid feature is enabled.

11. International Users

ZeenFeed’s infrastructure is provided by Supabase and may process and store data in the United States or other countries where Supabase operates, regardless of where you access the Service from.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as ZeenFeed moves out of beta. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect.
